Driftwood Park Public School is located in Kitchener. We are a JK to Grade 6 public elementary school, made up of approximately 360 students. We are a dual-track school offering an English stream, including Core French. We also offer a Partial French Immersion stream starting in Grade 2, where students spend over half of their day learning French and the other half learning English. Our students graduate from grade 6 and move on to Westheights P.S. for grade 7 and 8.

Along with our academic programs, Driftwood is fortunate to share a space with a Conestoga College Daycare. The Daycare runs completely separately from the school, but does provide the Youth Development program offering before and after school care for students in grade 4-6. Through the school board, Driftwood Park offers 2 Extended Day programs for JK to grade 3 students.

Driftwood Park is a school that embraces WRDSB’s core character attributes of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Kindness, Hope and Empathy, Cooperation and Social Responsibility. We are a multicultural community, proud to enhance and embrace the educational experience for all of our students through our diversity. Driftwood Park is also a school that strongly appreciates a team approach and values the contributions and partnership of our parents.
